Slobulous

I just asked one of my managers if I could call her Slobulous. "Sorry?" she asked. Oh nothing.

We were talking about the Mega Millions lottery tonight and if I won, oh $80 million or so, I would:

  • Buy out Allan Houston's contract so the Knicks could have some cap room

  • Have a monopoly on all the leftover hypercolor t-shirts

  • Take a limo to work on my last day, wear sunglasses, a tuxedo t-shirt and reek of scotch and falafels

  • Buy a plasma TV and cancel digital cable, in that order

  • Send shit in a bag to all my credit card companies and Cingular Wireless

  • laugh more

Who's it: Peter Gabriel, Sting or Frank Black?
Immediately I would remove Sting because I was never a huge Sting fan (or Police). Frank and Peter both were incrediby innovative in music in the 80's. Music would not be what it is today without either one of these guys. Both have written and sung songs that make my insides wiggle staccato. allegro!

so. good weather is coming up this weekend, hopefully I'll be able to get a little surfing in... either that or have 4 drinks before noon. Either way, I have goals.

This week was kind of boring. I watched Crossballs today at work. I'd taped it from Tuesday (it's got Adar from Upright Citizens Brigade, i.e. the best show ever to be canceled by Comedy Central. It was funny but could have been better. It is a mix between hardball and crossfire (hence the name) but there is one set of guests that don't know the other is a joke, or acting. There will be some good sketches, rest assured America. It could be more politically savvy or scathing, but once again, somebody drops the ball -- no intended relevant pun intended.

Anyhow. I didn't post anything yesterday and I feel awful. I am a terrible liar. Tonight, though, I have free again. My wife has work and I have the abode to myself once more and I promise not to squander my hours on Scotch and meandering. After all, Idle hands are the devils playthings. I wonder if my wpm on the PC at work makes up for idleness at home... it's not all that interesting so I'll stop wondering about it. I promise to go home and work on some of my photos that have been latent for far too long. I may also get a six pack of beer since today was payday. After all, I deserve to treat myself right? I've made it all week on like $30 (oooohh) and a half bottle of Johnny Red (after all, we're penny pinching right? I'm not racist).
