So. As promised, it's been a week and I haven't mentioned politics at all... and I'm kind of proud of that. It was kind of successful, to me at least. I am able to talk about things that don't make me want to bash my head against a bed of nails and then go swimming in hydrogen peroxide. Since I graduated college I haven't written very much for several different reasons (some copouts, some not) so I welcomed my fervor in politics as a welcome excuse to write again. But maybe I don't need to be so rabid to write. After all, there are other things in life than evil assholes who play the world for fools, and I can't suffer them.

I will still write about politics. I won't, however, scour google, My Way, Drudge, Guardian, Yahoo, Whitehouse.gov for this news. I'll still read it and digest but I rid myself of this grandiose overestimation like atrios and dailykos. I won't do it. There's already too much biased reporting. I'll just gripe now and again. If I get my hands on something hot though, look out. It's going to be scathing, explicit and filthy.

On that note, I hope y'all liked the pics I posted yesterday. I'm gonna take some more on my walk home today and have them by Wednesday... after a brief respite at the beach where I promise to drink one for all of my faithful. So, two or three drinks huh... I kid. peace
