A while ago I posted an apology by Karl Rove for displaying the "Mission Accomplished" banner from the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln a year ago. Today, President Bush spoke in the Rose Garden and still defends the banner that he said the sailors put up (then he said they didn't, then that they did). It is amazing how poorly to Bush Administration is handling these issues. I thought they were supposed to be the organized party... not that the Democrats have been very organized so far.
Today Bush said that the mission was accomplished:
"A year ago I did give the speech from the carrier saying we had
achieved an important objective, accomplished a mission,
which was the removal of Saddam Hussein."
here is the whole story...
