Tepid Sense of an Intrepid Destiny

I don't know how my blogging is going to be effected, now that my employer has ostensibly banned blogs. They contend that blogs are rife with spyware and will crash our whole network, which, in fact, would have enormous implications on Wall Street, Bleeker Street and Tai Streets to name a few. Oh well. I'm not sure if this will force me to write more at home, which would infuriate mun rakas... but she's got to get used to it... after all, we've got an election to win!

Today was slow as shit at work and I was trying to see if reading our news site was any bit interesting. That lasted about five minutes. Enthralling!

Anyhow. So. I switched shifts with Diego today, meaning I could wake up at am rather than the nauseating 5am. I slept for over 9 hours which was much needed. Yesterday, the four makers and cokes with a little West Wing on the side bode well. But, I got home just now and have to be back at work in 7 and a half hours. I will be there on time, come hell or high water or whatever. Oh. The point of this paragraph: Yesterday I brought my camera to work intending to take pics on the way home, because I had some spare time. My battery ran out after 30 pics or so. When I got home, futzed around with them and posted them, I charged my camera. Since I had to be at work late, I figured I would use some of that spare time to get to the area early and take more pictures of the Lehman Brothers building. SO. I walk out of the port authority to see this gorgeous girl in: Uggs, Aviator Sunglasses, and a peculiar plaid dress and matching jacket. I wanted to take a picture of her because the fact that there was some pseudo-model walking down eighth ave next to the porn shops, slime balls, construction workers and suits would have made a good composition. So. Guess What? I forgot my memory card for the camera in my computer. that is it. I guess I could have made this story a lot shorter. Oh well.

Tomorrow I might be having two friends over for dinner. If I do, I'll be sure to ahve pics, as long as it looks edible.
