Tepid Sense of an Intrepid Destiny

Military's job is to win the war; president's job is to win the peace."

Last nights debate was solid. Another positive for Kerry. Although I thought this debate was closer, Kerry still defeated Bush handily. I thought the worst moments of the debate for Bush were when he was asked how he would rate himself as an environmentalist. He wouldn't. That's how he should rate himself. Kerry got him on that one, but not as scathing as I would have hoped. The other answers that were so amazingly different were the Embryonic Stem Cell research and Judicial Appointments.

When Kerry explained his position on Stem Cells, Bush got up and was like, "I was trying to decipher that..." etc. It is painfully obvious that 'our' President CANNOT understand complicated arguments and only sees issues in black and white. And if there are issues that are not black and white; stem cells, abortion and judicial appointments certainly aren't.

So I wonder how they'll spin this... and I am really interested in seeing the newest Newsweek Poll (if one will come out today, it'd be nice).

I am not in the mood to wax in depth of all things deba(te)cle, so I'll just add a photo with some caption ideas and invite all other idears.

I moved into a place and don't have online capabilites quite yet. Surely will this week though. Keepin it real when I get it back fo sho.

Winner: "You mean there's only one internet?"

Runner Up: "That stem cell argument made sense to you!"

Lastly" "There's still one more debate?"
