Tepid Sense of an Intrepid Destiny

From what I understand, George Bush justified preemptive war against Iraq due to an 'imminent threat,' the possession of chemical weapons, and strong desires to create nuclear weapons. If we declare war against a country (since 'we' haven't found biological or chemical weaponry) that is attempting to build nuclear weapons, we justify that by invoking the non-proliferation treaty; which prohibits the creation of new nuclear weapons. Due to the facts that Iraq did not have the amount of chemical weapons the world was told they had and the information about Iraq seeking to obtain uranium from Africa was false, we justified and went to war on false pretenses. The United Nations did not support our egotistical intimidations and insinuations, and rightfully so.

The Bush administration has pointed to three nations that are part of an 'axis of evil.' They are evil because they are constantly seeking to build and possibly use nuclear weapons. Despite all of their clandestine operations, the United States is the only country 'openly' admitting it, although the first news came from a leaked memo . So this shows we are the only country that is truly breaking the non-proliferation treaty. To bolster (or secure) the ability to create strategical- and mini-nukes, Bush eliminated the United States' Atomic Watchdog . Outrageous!
